Generally speaking, when using the flat sling with soft lifting lug, the minimum length of the lifting lug used shall not be less than 3.5 times the maximum thickness of the hook in contact with the lifting lug, and the included angle of the lifting lug movement shall not exceed 20 °. When connecting a flexible sling with a flexible lifting lug and a lifting appliance, the contact part of the flexible sling and the lifting appliance must be consistent, unless the axial width of the flexible sling does not exceed 75 mm, and the bending radius of the lifting accessories must be at least 0.75 times of the axial width of the flexible sling.
Adjusting the flat lifting belt according to the above requirements can greatly reduce the wear of the lifting belt during operation, and ensure the stability of the operation, thus further enhancing the safety of the lifting operation.
