If classified by appearance, lifting belts are mainly divided into two types: flat lifting belts and flexible lifting belts. As the name suggests, flat lifting belts have a flat shape, while flexible lifting belts have a circular thigh shape, also known as circular lifting belts. So, what are the differences between the two types of lifting belts in application?
Flat lifting straps are more commonly used for bottom binding lifting and are usually paired with suspension devices such as steel wire ropes. Due to their shape, if used for lifting the upper part, they may experience higher wind resistance. However, when used for binding the lower part, they can effectively attach to the lifting target and provide better protection.
However, flexible lifting belts are different. Flexible lifting belts can be directly used for lifting, with stronger load capacity and different job contents. By increasing the diameter, larger specifications of flexible lifting belts can be customized. In wind power lifting operations and ship lifting in shipyards, the assistance of flexible lifting belts is indispensable.
