How to safely lift the hub of a flexible lifting belt wind turbine

As a key component of wind power generation equipment, the wind turbine hub connects the blades and main shaft, and plays a crucial role in transmitting and dispersing loads throughout the entire wind power generation system. Its structural design needs to withstand the enormous force generated when the blades rotate, with extremely high requirements for stability and strength.

Flexible lifting straps play a crucial role in the lifting and installation process of wheel hubs. Due to its soft, lightweight, and ability to adhere to irregular surfaces of the wheel hub, it can effectively avoid damage to the wheel hub surface, while uniformly dispersing lifting force to ensure smooth lifting.

Before lifting the wheel hub, a comprehensive and detailed inspection of the flexible lifting belt should be carried out to check for any hidden dangers such as wear and tear, breakage, etc., to ensure that it is in the best condition. At the same time, accurately calculate the center of gravity position of the wheel hub, select the suspension point of the lifting belt reasonably, and ensure that the wheel hub can maintain balance during lifting. During the lifting process, the commanding personnel need to closely cooperate with the crane driver, control the lifting speed slowly and evenly through clear and accurate signal instructions, and avoid situations such as shaking and sudden braking. A warning area should also be set up on site to prevent unrelated personnel from approaching, and safety awareness should be constantly integrated throughout the entire lifting process to build a solid defense line for the safe positioning of the wheel hub.
